Why I set up this site…

Like many others I have spoken to recently, I have been feeling somewhat overwhelmed by the barrage of consultation documents I have received from the GOsC of late. They raise many important issues that will have a profound impact on the future of Osteopathy in the UK and there is a lot of ground to cover if you want to contribute to the consultation in a way that will really make a difference.

To ease the burden, I set up this website. I hope that the opportunity to exchange ideas will help us all to think more clearly about how the proposed changes will affect us and what the best way forward might be, so that together we can help the GOsC to redefine the regulatory framework for Osteopathy in the UK in a way that not only protects the public but also supports the profession.

    Ben
what a great initiative for us to come together and be able to communicate.
My hope is that the GOsC practice Framework and Revalidation drafts are just that – drafts that might be amended with the robust feedback they are getting from those of us who have replied.
I do recommend that those of us who submit our response to these documents online also send our response by recorded delivery to ensure they are logged properly and that our communications have been received.
    Thanks Ben
    Karen
